Sends the coffee grounds and the drip tray water down through the base of the machine and into a container under the bench. The result is that neither the grounds container nor the drip tray has to be emptied during the day.

This is a self service fix more than a convenience one. In a foyer, a showroom or an open plan office kitchen, the grounds container filling up is what stops the machine, and it is nobody's job to notice. Route it below the bench and the machine keeps running.

What is involved

The holes in the benchtop are not included and are not part of the kit. The machine itself has to be modified by an authorised Jura partner, so this is not a self install. Worth planning at the same time as the bench and the water point rather than afterwards.
