Wholesale servicing is available to businesses buying their beans from The Beanery. It is not a standalone service contract. If you are not on wholesale yet, apply here and we will sort the coffee and the machine together.

What you get

Most venues end up chasing two or three different people when something stops working. You do not have to.

Servicing and repairs

  • Our own workshop. Rocket, ECM, VBM and Gaggia are serviced in house at Brighton, not sent away.
  • Genuine parts. Sourced directly from the manufacturer. We replace what has failed, not what is nearby.
  • Priority for coffee customers. If you are on a weekly bean order, tell us at the same time and we will fit you in.
  • Honest advice. If a machine is not worth repairing we will tell you rather than quote you.

New machines

  • Delivery and set up across Melbourne metro is included on new machines, so it arrives working rather than in a box.
  • Two year manufacturer warranty plus a third year from us on new machines.
  • Matched to the volume. A twenty cup a day office and a two hundred cup a day cafe are different machines. We will say which.
How it works

Check the grind first
Most calls turn out to be grind, dose or a bag that has gone past its window. Our troubleshooting guide takes two minutes and often saves the call.

Get in touch
Tell us the machine, the fault and how busy you are. If it is urgent say so, we would rather know.

We assess it
We will tell you what is wrong and what it will take. Pricing depends on the parts, so we confirm it once we have seen the machine.

Back in service
The machine is tested before it goes back so the first shot of the morning is a good one.

We sell Jura but we are not authorised to service them. Jura equipment goes through Jura on 1300 285 872.

Before you ask

Do I have to buy coffee from you to get servicing?

For wholesale servicing, yes. It is part of supplying your coffee, not a service contract we sell on its own. Anyone can still walk a machine in to the Brighton workshop as a retail repair.

What does a service cost?

It depends on the parts. We give an indication once we know the fault and confirm it after the machine has been assessed. We do not replace parts that do not need replacing.

Do you come to us?

Delivery and set up on new machines is included across Melbourne metro. For repairs, talk to us about the machine and where you are and we will tell you whether it comes to the workshop or we come to you.

Which brands do you service?

Rocket, ECM, VBM and Gaggia in our own workshop. Other brands, send us the make and model and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

How long is a machine out of action?

It depends on the fault and whether parts are in stock. Common repairs are often a few days. Tell us how busy you are and we will work to it.
