Which Jura Coffee Machine Is Right for You?

Which Jura Coffee Machine Is Right for You?

Jura makes Swiss automatic bean-to-cup machines. Press a button and you get café-style espresso, a long black, or a one-touch flat white or cappuccino, with no grinding, tamping or milk texturing to do yourself. Every current Jura uses their P.E.P.® pulse extraction for better espresso, so the real question is how many coffees you make, how much variety you want, and what you'd like to spend.

Model Best for Approx. price
C8 A compact first automatic that covers the core espresso and milk drinks. Great for one or two people. ~$2,000
E8 The popular all-rounder, with a broad drinks menu and an easy interface for everyday use. ~$2,300
J10 A step up for the home, with a slicker interface and a wider drinks menu. ~$3,900
Z10 The flagship for the home. Does hot and cold brewing and has Jura's most complete range of drinks. ~$4,250

How to choose

  • By how much you drink: a few a day is easy work for the C8 or E8. A busier household will get more out of the J10 or Z10.
  • By variety: if you want cold brew and the full drinks menu, look at the Z10 (or the J10). If you're happy with espresso and milk drinks, the C8 or E8 have you covered.
  • Upkeep: every Jura runs its own rinse and cleaning cycles and uses CLARIS water filters. We stock the filters and cleaning tablets you'll need.

For an office or busy venue

If it's for a workplace rather than home, look at the Jura X10 and the GIGA machines (the X3 and X8c). They're built for higher volume and heavier daily use. You'll find them in Jura Commercial. For home machines, browse Jura Domestic.

How fast does it pay for itself? If you're buying coffee out most days, a Jura can pay for itself quicker than you'd think. Our Coffee Savings Calculator does the maths.
