Most faults are grind,
not the machine.

Sour, bitter, watery or no crema is nearly always grind, dose or bean freshness, and you can sort it at home in a few minutes. Our troubleshooting guide works through the taste faults first, then the machine ones, so you know which you are dealing with before you load the car.

Walk-in Service

No booking needed.
Just bring it in.

We do not take bookings for servicing. Simply walk in to our Brighton workshop during business hours. Our technicians will assess your machine and advise on what is needed.

We will give you a general indication of the likely cost based on the fault, but exact pricing depends on which parts need replacing. We only replace what actually needs replacing.

Parts and Pricing

Genuine parts, direct from the manufacturer.

We source authentic parts directly from the manufacturer for every repair. No pricing is given until the machine has been assessed, as cost depends entirely on what parts are required.

Jura Customers

We do not service Jura machines.

Jura machines require servicing through an authorised Jura service centre. We are not authorised to service Jura equipment, and we would rather point you to the right place than have your machine worked on by someone who is not.

We do still stock the genuine Jura filters, cleaning tablets and milk system cleaner, including the professional consumables for the GIGA and X line.

Common Questions

Do I need to book an appointment?

No. We do not take bookings for servicing. Walk in to our Brighton workshop during business hours and the team will assist you.

How do I know if it is the machine or the coffee?

Time a shot. Roughly 18g of coffee in, 36g of liquid out, over 25 to 30 seconds. If you are outside that window the grind is almost always the reason and servicing will not change it. Our troubleshooting guide covers the common taste faults and the machine ones, and tells you which is which.

Can you tell me how much it will cost before I bring the machine in?

We can give a general indication based on the fault, but exact pricing depends on which parts need replacing. We will not give a confirmed price until the machine has been assessed in person. We never replace parts unnecessarily.

Do you use genuine parts?

Yes. We source authentic parts directly from the manufacturer for every repair. We do not use third-party or aftermarket parts.

How long does a repair take?

Turnaround depends on the fault and whether parts need to be ordered. We will give you an estimated timeframe after assessing the machine. Common repairs with parts in stock can often be completed within a few days.

My machine is not one of the brands listed. Can you help?

Send us a message via the contact page with the machine brand and fault. Depending on the brand, we may be able to assist or refer you to a specialist.

Do you service Jura machines?

No. Jura machines must be serviced through an authorised Jura service centre. Contact Jura directly on 1300 285 872 or via their support website.

Cleaning and Care

Stop the fault
before it starts.

Most of what comes through our workshop traces back to scale or a group head that has not been backflushed. Our cleaning guide covers the schedule that prevents it.
